  1. I've been porting Lynx to the 2.09 WWW library and adding the direct
  2. WAIS modules.  My question is what is the best WAIS distribution to
  3. use.  I downloaded wais-8-b5 and am having alot of compile troubles.
  4. Is there another "free" WAIS that I should be using?  Is 8-b5 free
  5. WAIS or is it the distribution that thinking machines distributes?

  7. Another thing, is it a good idea to include the wais distribution
  8. in the Lynx distribution for ease of installation?  Are there any
  9. copywrite issues involved here?

  11. It looks like this isn't going to work on alot of machines anyways 
  12. since WAIS requires an ANSI C compiler.
